Jennifer Wood

Instructor


Jennifer grew up dancing at Stage I, beginning at the age of three years old. At the age of six, she joined the Performing Company, and was part of the Performing Company for 12 years. During that time, she was able to travel to New York and Las Vegas to take classes and perform. She was an assistant teacher at Stage I for five years, and was a teacher at the studio during her senior year of high school. Jennifer graduated from Butler University in 2011 with a degree in Elementary Education. While at Butler, Jennifer was a part of the Butler University Dance Team for three years, and had the opportunity to dance at halftime for the NCAA Final Four and National Championship games in 2011. She was a cast member in the Yuletide Celebration for 10 years as a tap dancing Santa, puppeteer, and other roles as needed. She currently teaches first, second, and third grades at James Russell Lowell IPS 51. She coached her school's dance/cheer team for 10 years. Jennifer is so happy to be back home at Stage I being able to share her love of all kinds of dance with others!
