Miss Allison began dancing at the age of 5 and found her passion and love for dance at Robin’s School of Dance. She competed with the RSD Company regionally and nationally along with doing numerous solos. During her senior year she was selected to dance as a part of a top scoring soloist group “Dancer of the Year.” for Dance America in NYC. She also assistant taught at her home studio for 3 years. She danced throughout high school and was selected as an all Iowa Honor Dance Team member her senior year. She job shadowed Miss Raena of Balleraena Dance Studio in Sioux Falls and decided that working with children was going to be her path. She continued on to study dance in college. She completed 2 years in the Performing Arts and Entrepreneurship program at the University of Iowa with an emphasis on Dance and a secondary emphasis on Theater. She taught at local dance studios while in college and choreographed award winning routines for their company dancers. She then moved back home and decided to take a leap of faith and put her passion into motion by opening ADA in Brandon, SD in 2007. She then opened a second location in Rock Rapids, IA, a third location in Rock Valley, IA, and most recently, a fourth location in Beresford, SD in 2020. She joined More Than Just Great Dancing in 2018 and continues to learn at annual events such as Studio Owner University and various teacher trainings put on by More Than Just Great Dancing and Dance Teacher Web.
