As a Vendor Connections volunteer, you’ll be the friendly face assisting our festival vendors to set up and navigate any questions they have throughout the day. You’ll help vendors locate their assigned spots, make sure they have everything they need, and act as the link between vendors and festival organizers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people and likes making sure everyone has a smooth, enjoyable experience. You’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming and organized festival environment!
Greeting volunteers are the first to welcome families and visitors, helping set a warm and festive tone from the very start. You’ll provide essential information, hand out festival maps, answer questions, and ensure every family feels at home. For those who love brightening people’s days with a smile and are ready to answer questions, this role is perfect. Greeting volunteers set the stage for a fantastic festival experience, making each visitor feel part of the excitement from the moment they arrive.
As a Parking and Direction volunteer, you’ll help visitors safely navigate to the festival. With cheerful directions and a helpful attitude, you’ll guide cars into parking areas, assist with traffic flow, and ensure that everyone can easily find their way to the entrance. This role is great for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to keep the day running smoothly and safely. You’ll help create a stress-free arrival and departure experience for festival-goers.
Our Tidy-Up volunteers keep the festival looking its best all day long! You’ll walk through the festival area to pick up litter, help straighten tables and chairs, and assist with keeping pathways clear. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to the festival’s success, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. It’s a great fit for someone who’s detail-oriented and doesn’t mind being active and on their feet, helping ensure every space remains fun, safe, and clean.
As a Food and Snack Station volunteer, you’ll help keep everyone fueled and hydrated for a full day of festival fun. From distributing snacks to filling water bottles, you’ll serve up the energy families need to enjoy the festivities. Volunteers in this role may also assist with setting up, organizing, and tidying food areas, all with a welcoming smile. If you enjoy working with people, have an eye for keeping things organized, and like lending a hand where it’s needed, this role will be perfect for you!
Bring your talents to the Children’s Festival stage! We welcome performance groups of all kinds—dancers, musicians, theater troupes, storytellers, magicians, and more—to share the magic of live entertainment with an enthusiastic young audience. Performing at our festival is a unique opportunity to inspire children and families with creativity, culture, and fun. We’re looking for acts that are family-friendly, engaging, and interactive, creating moments of joy and excitement for attendees of all ages.
