Perform Ability Is Dancing for Sick Kids – And You Can Too! 💗💙
Every year, thousands take on a challenge that’s full of rhythm, joy, and heart—all for one incredible cause. You might be dancing on your own, with your crew, at work, or in the studio—but the goal stays the same: to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities, helping seriously ill and injured children and their families find comfort, care, and a place to call home.
Held during National Families Week (12–18 May), this feel-good fundraiser invites you to get moving while making a meaningful difference. Each dollar raised helps provide vital accommodation, education, and emotional support to families when they need it most.
And the best part? You don’t need to be a professional dancer—you just need to move with love.

Turning Moves Into Hope for Sick Kids
At Perform Ability, dance isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. And when dance becomes a way to uplift others, especially sick and injured kids, we step onto that stage with full hearts and fast feet.
Dance has no limits, and neither should compassion. That’s why we’ve proudly supported Dance for Sick Kids as ambassadors for several years—creating inclusive follow-along tutorials that everyone can enjoy.
We’ve witnessed the joy this campaign brings—smiles shared, funds raised, and a renewed sense of purpose in our community.
And in 2025, we’re dancing once again, proudly standing with Ronald McDonald House Charities to raise awareness and vital funds for families doing it tough.
Because when we dance with a purpose, every move becomes a message of hope.

Why Dance for Sick Kids Matters?
Dance for Sick Kids is a 7-day dance challenge open to people of all abilities and backgrounds.
It’s the perfect time to celebrate connection, kindness, and community. By joining in, you're not just dancing for fun (though there’s plenty of that!)—you’re directly supporting the thousands of families who rely on the vital services provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Your fundraising helps provide over 11,100 families each year across Greater Western Sydney, Victoria, and Tasmania with access to:
Emergency accommodation near hospitals
Family rooms for rest and respite
Education support through the Ronald McDonald Learning Program
This kind of support is life-changing—and your dance moves help make it happen.
