From First Steps to Showstoppers

Tiny Dancers (18mo - 3yrs)

The Tiny Dancers program is a joyful introduction to the world of dance for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Through playful exploration, little ones will engage in creative movement, enhance their gross motor skills, and develop spatial awareness. The program emphasizes following simple directions and discovering musicality, all while nurturing a love for dance. This program serves as a stepping stone to our Shortie Dancers program, providing a solid foundation of skills and confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment. All tiny dancers will have the opportunity to showcase their growth in the annual recital.

Shortie Dancers (Ages 4-7)

The Shortie Dance program offers a vibrant and engaging introduction to various dance genres for children ages 4 to 7. In this program, young dancers will explore ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and acro, providing a well-rounded foundation in each style. These introductory-level classes are designed to build essential skills, enhance coordination, and foster a love for dance. Additionally, all Shortie Dancers will have the exciting opportunity to showcase their progress and talents in our annual recital, celebrating their growth and achievements on stage.

Juniors (Age 7-11)

The Junior Dancer program, designed for ages 7 to 11, offers both beginning and intermediate levels to suit varying experience and skill levels. In these 60-minute classes, dancers will immerse themselves in a range of genres including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro, lyrical, and contemporary. The program focuses on developing technical proficiency, artistic expression, and overall dance versatility. All Junior Dancers will have the exciting opportunity to perform in our end-of-year recital, showcasing their growth and celebrating their achievements on stage.

Teens 11 & Up

The Teen Dancer program, for ages 11 and up, offers a range of classes designed to accommodate various skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Dancers can explore a diverse selection of genres including ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. This program provides teens with the flexibility to develop their skills at their own pace and in their preferred styles. All Teen Dancers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and progress in our end-of-year recital, celebrating their dedication and growth on stage.

Performance & Competitive Dance Companies

Dance FX offers specialized performance and competitive tracks for dancers seeking advanced training and stage experience.

From our MoXie Tots introductory team to the nationally recognized Xtreme Collective, we provide a structured pathway for growth,

skill development, and professional-level discipline.

MoXie Tots (Ages 3–5)

A foundational performance team for preschool dancers. MoXie Tots provides a joyful introduction to the stage through local community events, focusing on basic coordination and a love for dance.

RoXstars (Ages 6–11)

Designed for elementary-aged dancers, this team emphasizes technical skill development and stage presence. RoXstars represent Dance FX at local festivals and community functions.

Xcel (Ages 11 & Up)

A performance-focused track for older dancers. Xcel provides enhanced technical training and frequent local performance opportunities for those looking to refine their stagecraft without the full commitment of a competitive circuit.

Our "bridge" program. The PiXie Team combines local performances with entry-level competitive opportunities, preparing young dancers for the rigorous standards of the Xtreme Collective.

Xtreme Collective (Ages 6 to Graduation)

The premier competitive division at Dance FX. This elite group is for dedicated dancers seeking intensive training, national recognition, and professional-level workshops. Members compete at high-level regional and national events across the United States.
