3rd Street Dance
Big dreams start here!
With a focus on fun and friendship, 3rd Street Dance’s K-1st Grade Program is the perfect opportunity for the early elementary school-age dancer to grow in confidence as they learn technique basics. Dancers have on stage performance opportunities in our Holiday Showcase and Nutcracker Suite in December, and the annual Spring Recital and Mini Ballet in June (date TBA). We are excited to provide you with our tech-enabled studios. All classes are available in studio and via live stream to your home(by request).
Introduces our young dancers to the grace and technique of ballet. Ballet is the foundation of all dance. It develops discipline and technique that is essential to all forms of dance, as well as proper posture, placement and alignment. Ballet benefits students in all areas of dance and is highly recommended for each student's success.
Introduces our young dancers to the basic steps and technique of jazz. This class will introduce dancers to a variety of jazz movements that will become more challenging as the year progresses. In addition, children will also learn to count music and memorize simple dance steps and combinations.
Introduces our young dancers to the rhythm of tap. This class will introduce dancers to a variety of tap movements that will become more challenging as the year progresses. In addition, children will also learn to count music and memorize simple tap steps and combinations.
Dance along to the beat in this beginning hip hop class for kids. Emphasis is placed on teaching our dancers basic jazz dance steps, while incorporating modern urban movements and freestyle. All music and movement is censored and age appropriate.

• Leotard: Any Color
• Tights: Capezio Ballet Pink
• Shoes: Pink Ballet for Mini Movers, Tippy Toes, and Tutus for Tots. Black Patten Tap for Tiny Tappers.
