FAQ's

When are Auditions?

Auditions will be held on May 20th, beginning at 4:30 PM. Specific times to come upon registration.
Audition registration opens on February 17th and must be completed through the Parent Portal.

What should my dancer wear to auditions?

All dancers should wear all-black dance attire that allows instructors to clearly see technique and lines. Hair should be neatly secured away from the face.
Please bring appropriate footwear, including half soles, jazz shoes, or turners.

What should my dancer expect at auditions?

Auditions will include a guided warm-up, technique assessment, and a short combination taught in either jazz or contemporary. Dancers will be evaluated on technique, musicality, performance quality, focus, and effort.

Is there an audition fee?

Yes. There is a $25 audition fee per dancer, due at the time of registration.

What if I’m not available for the information meeting on April 13?

No worries! If you’re unable to attend the April 13 information meeting, we’re happy to set up an individual meeting with you.
