Miss Mary Ingersoll

Owner

Dance class has been the best part of Miss Mary's week since she was in Kindergarten. She's an Award Winning Choreographer, Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor and a Certified Coach with More Than Just Great Dancing. Miss Mary specializes in developing new programs and ensuring success across all of Inspirations.

Miss Mary and Mr. Ross live in Savannah with their children, Eddie & Lizzie.

Miss Sydney Kidd

Operations

Miss Sydney is our Manager of Operations at Inspirations. She works completely remote from Wisconsin! An experienced dancer, teacher, program manager and choreographer, Sydney attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Contemporary Dance and Choreography.

She will visit Inspirations occasionally as a guest instructor and choreographer, but works daily behind the scenes managing all the details that make your experience with us top notch.

Miss Belinda Burgiss Hall

Art

Originally from New Zealand, where she was a Primary school (Elementary) Teacher for 17 years; the last 8 of those as an Art specialist, Miss Bee is pleased to be able to offer BEE CREATIVE @ INSPIRATIONS - Art classes for children aged 7 to 14. Bee had her own Art studio, BEE CREATIVE, in New Zealand teaching up to 40 kids a week the joy of creating art. Now living in Missouri, she is excited to inspire the young artists in Savannah and it’s surrounding areas to create masterpieces.

Miss Raychel Baker

Acro

Miss Raychel started her love of tumbling as a gymnast in her younger years! She later became a cheerleader and started coaching tumbling and cheer at age 16. She has taught tumbling in many different settings including dance studios, cheerleading teams, and even dojos!

Raychel loves teaching kids and watching their love for tumbling grow and her excitement and energy in the classroom are contagious.

Miss Shira Hemke

Dance & Theater

Miss Shira is from Neosho, MO where she danced from the age of 3 through high school. She was a very active performer and dancer including show choir, colorguard, and theatre. Her love for performing carried on through college where she was in numerous theatre productions and also participated in show choir. She graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a degree in Mass Communication. Shortly after college, she relocated to Saint Joseph and has called the area home ever since. Her favorite styles of dance are jazz and lyrical - but she teaches all ages and styles.

Miss Shira and her family own Taco Bandido Restaurant in St. Joseph where it's Taco Tuesday everyday!

Miss Heather Lassen

Piano

Miss Heather has taught piano lessons at Inspirations for many years. She's so popular that her classes are sold out!

When she's not in the piano studio, Miss Heather works in publishing at American Angus and homeschools her daughters on their farm in Andrew County.

Miss Makenzy Phillips

Super Sub

Miss Makenzy grew up in Savannah and graduated from Savannah High School, right next door to Inspirations! Makenzy started dance when she was 4 years old and continued to dance for 9 years. In 6th grade, she started cheerleading for school and continued through high school.

She can teach most any class at Inspirations Dance and has also subbed at the After School Academy.

This year Miss Makenzy is leading the class each week at Inspirations Preschool Academy.

Miss Amanda Rose

Dance

Miss Amanda joined our team in 2023. She grew up in Kearney, Missouri where she studied dance throughout her childhood and teen years. Miss Amanda can teach many styles but currently specializes in ballet and pointe.

She is a student at Northwest Missouri State University, studying Elementary Education. She is active in the Northwest Dance Company and Campus Ministries.

Miss Rebecca Hodges

Miss Rebecca has a friendly face to greet you each time you enter Inspirations. She's becoming an expert in dance after careers in nursing and social work. She is a dedicated mom to Megan, a collegiate swimmer.

Miss Lydia is completing her senior year of homeschool while attending Northwest Missouri State University full time in Maryville, Mo. She has studied dance for many years and is a talented performer, choreographer, and teacher. She was recently awarded Artist of the Year at the Platinum National Dance Competition in Kansas City for her self-choreographed solo, Danger Zone.
