DRESS CODE
Dancer
Please use the below details to read about dress code policies for your dancer’s classes. Feel free to email or call the studio with any dress code or dance clothing help! We also highly recommend checking out the dancewear store called Assemble or Dance Xtreme that are both close by!
Ballet/ Tap Combo Classes
Girls –
Ballet combination classes need PINK BALLET SLIPPERS (drawstrings tucked neatly inside the shoe) with a Leotard and Pink Ballet Tights
Tap combination classes need BLACK TAP SHOES with velcro or elastic bands (no ribbon ties please). If these type of shoes are hard to find, feel free to replace your ribbon ties with a hair elastic similar to this.
Hair needs to be pulled back away from the face – preferably into a pony or bun.

Boys –
Athletic Shorts or Sweatpants
T-shirt
Black Ballet or Jazz Shoes and/or Black Tap Shoes
Ballet (Leveled) Classes
Ladies –
All ballet classes are required to wear a black leotard, pink footed or convertible tights (no footless tights) and pink ballet slippers. Black leotards should NOT have a skirt attached or any embellishments.
Split-Sole Pink Ballet Slippers with elastic sewn on and drawstrings tucked neatly inside the shoe (canvas shoes are preferred over leather due to the ability to machine wash them)
Hair must be pulled back neatly and securely into a bun (please use hair net and bobby pins)

No jewelry, ballet skirts, shorts or warm-ups during class
Gentlemen –
Black Shorts or Fitted Pants
Fitted Plain White Shirt
Black Split-Sole Ballet Shoes and Thin White Socks
Hip Hop Classes
No oversized clothing items (unless approved by instructor)
Only sneakers that aren’t worn outside permitted. Please try to keep the bottom of the shoe/sole clean!
Hair needs to be pulled back securely
No jewelry
All Other Dance Classes
Dance shorts or Leggings (must be form fitting and easy to stretch and move in)
Fitted tanks or t-shirts or sports bra
Appropriate Shoes (Jazz Shoes for jazz & pom classes, Pirouettes for lyrical, etc.)
